Hello Mystery Readers,
Welcome to all the new Santana readers!
Having published six Santana novels and the literary e-book entitled All The Fields in seven years, I took six months off after the release of The Darkness Hunter. But for all of you who have asked, I am now working on the seventh John Santana novel and hope to have it completed by the end of this year for publication in 2017.
As many of you know I ran a contest for the two most recent Santana novels in which the winner would have his or her name used as a character in the novel. Congratulations again to Roseanne George, whose name appears in Death’s Way and to Jane Linden, whose name appears in The Darkness Hunter.
Here’s your change to be a winner. If you would like your name to appear in the upcoming Santana novel, just answer the five questions below from The Darkness Hunter and send them to me. You must answer all questions correctly to be eligible for the drawing. The contest ends on December 31, 2016.
Here
are the five questions from The Darkness Hunter:
1. Why wouldn’t Clay Buck’s truck start?
2. Danielle Lonetree was a member of what Sioux tribe?
3. Sam Noor suffocated in what type of sand?
4. How was Thomas Stark killed?
5. What was Ray Carver’s job before he retired?
Email your responses to cjvalen@comcast.net.
Please email me with any questions or comments you might have about the novels. I always love hearing from readers.
Also, if you’ve enjoyed one or all of
the Santana novels, feel free to post a short review on Amazon. Thanks to all of you who have done so. I really appreciate it!
All the Best,
Christopher
