Hello John Santana Fans,

After a relatively cool and rainy spring, temperatures here in southern Arizona have finally stabilized despite some windy days. I hear temperatures in Minnesota are well above normal, so it should be warm when Martha and I head north in mid-May for the summer months.

Many of you have asked about Santana audio books, and I’m happy to report that the audio book for Bone Shadows was recently released on Amazon using their new virtual voice narration. Having edited and listened to the audio version a number of times, I’m pleased with the quality and natural sound. You can listen to a few pages of the first chapter by clicking HERE.

More audio versions of the Santana series will be released in the coming months. 

UPCOMING EVENTS

For those of you in Minnesota, I have two upcoming events this spring. On Monday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m., for Minnesota Mystery Night, I’ll be in conversation with author Brian Lutterman at Axel’s Restaurant, 1318 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota Minnesota. We’ll be discussing Brian’s Pen Wilkinson series along with his latest release, Incel. We’ll also be signing copies of our books. Join us early for dinner prior to the conversation.  On Wednesday, June 5, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. I’ll be discussing the latest John Santana mystery, No Way To Die, as well as signing copies of the Santana series at the Totally Criminal Cocktail Hour, sponsored by Valley Bookseller.
